What does Muhammadiyah Welfare Home do?

Muhammadiyah Welfare Home is a shelter and rehabilitation center for at-risk youth, providing care and support to over 900 children and young adults since its inception in 1989. The home currently houses around 80 residents who are referred by the Juvenile Court and Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). These residents include juvenile delinquent cases, Beyond Parental Control (BPC) cases, and those admitted on compassionate grounds. The rehabilitation program lasts for approximately 1 to 3 years, aiming to help the youth regain their footing in society. Guided by principles of safety, smart home technology, differentiated care, and community support, Muhammadiyah Welfare Home strives to provide a nurturing environment that promotes individual growth and well-being
